Did You Know?
🌍The event follows the cancellation of two major Kenyan bodybuilding competitions in 2025: MMEA (Mr & Miss East Africa) and IronFit Classic, both citing unforeseen or economic circumstances.
🌍MR 001 Championship was the only major Kenyan bodybuilding show to take place in 2025, though it faced its own organisational criticism.
🌍Organiser Michael Kamanja Njuguna ('Mike') told us the event would initially focus on men's divisions, with a separate women's event planned; this was later revised to include a Female's Fitness Challenge on the same date.
🌍Tanzanian athlete King Cobla has publicly fundraised to compete at the event, indicating regional interest.
🌍IronFit Classic 2026, organised separately by Iron Shaffi, is scheduled for February 14, 2026 and will feature a dedicated Somali-only Men's Physique category.
