Course Details

The marathon course runs through Eldoret CBD and its close suburbs, starting at Sogomo Shopping Centre near the University of Eldoret. The route passes through Chepkoilel Junction, Hawaii Junction, the town centre, Kapsoya, Limo School, RVTTI, Nandi Road, and finishes near Zion Mall. Roads are closed from 6am to 12pm. The 10km fun run starts near Highlands Inn, passes Moi Girls, Eldowas, and finishes at the Zion Mall zone alongside the elite runners.

Getting There

Eldoret is approximately 310km northwest of Nairobi, around a 4 to 5 hour drive via the A104. Eldoret Airport has regular daily flights from Nairobi Wilson and JKIA, cutting travel time to under an hour. Physical registration points are available at Grandpri Building 4th Floor (Eldoret), Rupa's Mall (Eldoret), Kipchoge Complex (Kapsabet), and Oasis Hotel Lillys (Iten).

Results

7th Edition - 2026

Cheruiyot Koech stormed from 21st place last year to claim the men's title in 2:12:53; Dorrine Chesang (UGA) won the women's race on her Eldoret debut in 2:30:26. A closely contested podium in both categories, with just 36 seconds separating the top three women and six seconds between 2nd and 3rd in the men's race.
