Course Details

A 5km shakeout from Decathlon at The Hub Karen, starting at 7:00 AM on 24 October. The run is intended to loosen the legs before Sunday's Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon. The event has reached capacity; organisers announced on 14 October 2026 that it was full.

Getting There

Decathlon at The Hub Karen is on Dagoretti Road, Karen, approximately 15.9km from Nairobi CBD via Ngong Road and Dagoretti Road. Allow around 40 minutes, depending on traffic. From the CBD, take Valley Road and Ngong Road to Dagoretti Road, then continue to The Hub Karen. Use the linked map pin for the venue.
