Course Details

The Scenic Loop starts and finishes at Kitale Showgrounds, routing through Sibanga, Mailsaba, Mail Kumi na Moja, and Namanjalala before returning to the Showground. The terrain is typical Kitale — relatively flat to gently rolling on tarmac roads through the town and its outskirts. Any bike type is welcome. Helmets are strictly enforced with no exceptions.

Getting There

Kitale Showgrounds is in central Kitale off Meru Farm Road, easily accessible from the town centre. Kitale is approximately 326km northwest of Nairobi via the A1 through Nakuru and Eldoret — around a 4.5 to 5 hour drive. The nearest major town is Eldoret, about 62km to the southeast.
