VC & CEO Cycling Tour 2026 - 4th Edition
Sunday, 13 September 2026 · 7:00 AM
The 4th edition of KCA University Foundation's VC & CEO Cycling Tour, rolling through Nairobi's streets. Three ride options - a 110km Elite race, a 12.3km Fun Ride, and a 5.1km Family/Children ride. Bring your legs, bring your friends, bring your A-game.

The poster lists a registration deadline of 5th August 2026, but a call to the organiser confirmed registration is still ongoing past that date - the printed deadline appears to function as an early-registration prompt rather than a hard cutoff. Confirm current status with KCA University Foundation directly (0710 888 022 / 0734 888 022) before assuming registration has closed.

Course Details
Three routes on offer. Race 1, the 110km Elite circuit, heads out from KCAU along Outering Road to Cabanas, Ole Sereni, and the Southern Bypass, before returning via Museum Hill back to KCAU - a genuine road-racing distance across Nairobi's ring roads. Race 2, the 12.3km Fun Ride, is a shorter loop out to Muthaiga Square, AAR Hospital, and La Mada Hotel before returning to KCAU. The Family/Children ride is a short 5.1km out-and-back to Muthaiga Square. Road bikes are appropriate for all three routes; expect Nairobi city traffic and road conditions on the 110km course.
Getting There
KCA University's Ruaraka Campus is on Thika Road (A2), approximately 6.5km northeast of Nairobi CBD. From the CBD, the fastest route is via Murang'a Road and the Embu-Nairobi Highway/Thika Road, taking exit 5 onto Utalii Lane, which leads directly to the campus - around 13 minutes depending on traffic.
