Course Details

The event starts and finishes at Maili Tisa Interchange on the Eldoret Bypass at 9:00 AM, with Cheplaskei listed as the stop point. The 64km Bypass route is the longest race-day distance, with about 1,200m of elevation gain, technical climbs and a mix of trail and tarmac. Elite riders race on the Eldoret Bypass, Veterans and Black Mamba Single Speed on the mid-distance bypass route, and Under 23, Masters, Under 17 and Under 14 on the shorter highland route. Black Mamba Local is the shortest option on race day. Exact distances per category have not been published, so confirm your route on the registration page.

Getting There

Maili Tisa Interchange is about 15km from Eldoret Town Hall, roughly 30 minutes by car. From the town hall, head onto Eldoret-Malaba Road (A104/A8) and follow it for about 14km, passing Eldoret White Castle Motel on the left. Take the exit onto Eldoret - Kitale Road at Maili Tisa, about 500m further.
