Course Details
The run starts at the Absa Bank Eldoret Branch on Kenyatta Street, opposite Malaba Road, in the town centre. Three distances are on offer: 3km, 5km, and 10km. Eldoret sits at roughly 2,100m above sea level, so runners from lower elevations should expect to feel the altitude.
Getting There
The Absa Bank Eldoret Branch is on Kenyatta Street, opposite Malaba Road, in Eldoret town centre, about 850m from Eldoret Town Hall. From Nairobi, Eldoret is approximately 324km away, around 6 hours 28 minutes via the A8 (this route includes tolls). From the CBD, take Moi Avenue to Uhuru Highway/A104, follow the A8 to Nakuru, then take Nakuru-Sigor Road/B4 and C55 to Eldama Ravine, and continue on the B53 and B54 to Lulumba Avenue in Eldoret. Eldoret also has regular flights from Nairobi.
