What does my entry fee go towards?

All proceeds go to the ACR Endowment Fund managed by the Alliance High School Endowment Fund Trust (AHSEFT). Funds support scholarships for deserving students, sports facility development, and student sports activities at Alliance High School.

Can I participate virtually?

Yes. Contact the organiser at acr@ahsobc.org if you wish to participate virtually and receive a medal for the event.

Is this event suitable for children?

Yes, the event is explicitly child friendly. The 5km distance is well suited for families running or walking together.

Course Details

The race starts and finishes at Alliance High School in Kikuyu, approximately 25km northwest of Nairobi CBD. Three distances cater for all levels: 21km for competitive runners, 10km for recreational runners, and 5km for families and beginners. The event is child friendly. Virtual participation is also available - contact acr@ahsobc.org to arrange.

Getting There

Alliance High School is in Kikuyu town, off the Nairobi–Nakuru highway (A104), approximately 25km from Nairobi CBD. The drive takes around 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Kikuyu is well served by matatus from Westlands and the CBD.
