Why was the event rescheduled?

The event was moved from 2nd May 2026 to 19th September 2026 due to an important request from one of the key partners. All prior registrations remain valid.

What distances are available and who are they suited for?

The 21km is for experienced runners, the 10km suits recreational runners, and the 5km family walk is open to all ages and fitness levels including children.

What is included in the registration fee?

Every participant receives an official event t-shirt and a finisher medal regardless of distance.

Enchilai is a grassroots, community-based organisation rooted in Maasai culture operating in Kajiado County. Their mission is to heal, empower, and sustain communities by integrating mental health, equity, and environmental resilience through culturally-rooted, community-led approaches.

Course Details

The event takes place at The Hub Karen, using the Decathlon Playground as the start and finish area. Three distances are available: 21km starting at 7:00 AM, 10km at 7:15 AM, and a 5km family walk at 7:29 AM. A pre-race brief takes place at 6:30 AM - arrive early to register and collect your bib.

Getting There

The Hub Karen is on Ngong Road in Karen, approximately 15km southwest of Nairobi CBD. It is well signposted and has ample parking on site. Matatus run along Ngong Road toward Karen; alight at The Hub.
