Course Details
The course runs through the Maasai Mara, one of the most biodiverse regions in Africa. Runners may encounter wildlife along the route and will be accompanied by guides and rangers. The terrain is open savanna with some seasonal variation depending on rainfall.
Getting There
The Maasai Mara is approximately 270km southwest of Nairobi, around a 5 to 6 hour drive via the B3 through Narok. Most participants fly to the Mara airstrips from Wilson Airport in Nairobi, a journey of about 45 minutes.
