Course Details

An 18km Individual Time Trial on singletrack through Kereita Forest at 2,500m altitude. The format means riders set off individually at intervals and race against the clock. Expect technical forest trails with roots and climbs typical of Kereita. A hardtail or full suspension MTB is recommended. The high altitude means cooler temperatures - bring an extra layer for the start.

Getting There

Kereita Forest is located in Kimende, approximately 56km northwest of Nairobi CBD via the A104 toward Naivasha, turning off at Kimende Township. Drive time from Nairobi is around 1 hour 37 minutes. The Plus Code for The Forest Adventure Centre is 2MV3+8Q2.

🌍Kereita Forest sits at around 2,500m above sea level on the slopes of the Aberdare Range, making it one of Kenya's highest and most scenic MTB venues.

🌍Limitless Outdoors was founded in Nairobi and started by hiring bikes for trail riding in Kereita Forest before growing into a bicycle design and manufacturing company.
