Event Highlights
Individual Time Trial format on the Southern Bypass corridor
47km with 400m elevation, a solid test of pacing and power
Organised by Abayomi Velonos with precise timing
Clean, well-surfaced road with manageable traffic on race morning
Course Details
The ITT format means riders set off individually at intervals and race against the clock. The Southern Bypass is a relatively smooth tarmac road with moderate undulations and one significant climb. Road bikes or time trial bikes are recommended. Aero equipment is legal.
Getting There
The race starts in Thogoto, Kikuyu, approximately 20km west of Nairobi off the Southern Bypass. From the CBD take the Southern Bypass westward toward Kikuyu.

Kaptagat Cycling Challenge Results 2026: Masika, Larot Win as Visually Impaired Cyclist Claims Para Title
