Do I need to register to just come and run?

The run is open access to all - come and move at your own pace. However, competing for the top-3 Nike shoe prizes in either distance is reserved for registered FitBeat community members with Strava for race verification.

How does the shoe prize competition work?

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both the 5km and 10km each win a pair of Nike shoes, for a total of 6 winners. This competitive category is open only to registered FitBeat community members, who need Strava for race verification. Full race guidelines will be shared with the community before the day.

What happens after the run?

Participants can check out the new Nike gear at the Nike Store (1st Floor, New Wing, Sarit), then head to Summer Lounge on the 1st Floor for breakfast, music, and connection with the community.

Course Details

Assembly and warm-up take place at Sarit Centre's front parking area in Westlands, with the 5km and 10km routes heading out from there. After the run, participants are encouraged to visit the Nike Store on the 1st Floor, New Wing of Sarit, before heading to Summer Lounge (1st Floor) for breakfast.

Getting There

Sarit Centre is on Parklands Road/Lower Kabete Road in Westlands, approximately 4.5km from Nairobi CBD via Parklands Road, around 15 minutes depending on traffic. From the CBD, follow Moi Avenue to Murang'a Road, take Kipande Road and Taarifa Road to Parklands Road, then continue to the parking lanes at Sarit.
