The event combines elite and amateur competition with a mission to fund Imani Christian School - providing education, classrooms, and science laboratories for orphaned and vulnerable children - while restoring the Seven Forks ecosystem through tree planting. Sanctioned by Athletics Kenya.

Course Details

The course runs through the Seven Forks gorge, passing four hydroelectric dams and moving through lush riverine forest and open savannah terrain. Terrain is roughly 40% road and 60% trail, with challenging elevation changes that vary by distance. Start/Finish is at the Seven Forks Hydro Complex.

Getting There

The venue is approximately 162km from Nairobi's CBD via the A2 (Thika Road) and A3 (Garissa Road), taking around 3 hr 17 min. Race kit collection is available at the venue from 6am on race day, or the evening before.
