How much does it cost?

Race entry is KES 3,000. The early bird bundle of race entry plus t-shirt is KES 3,850 until 30th November. After that, race plus t-shirt is KES 4,500 (KES 3,000 entry and KES 1,500 for the t-shirt).

Is the t-shirt included in the entry fee?

No. The t-shirt is optional: it comes in the early bird bundle, or it can be added for KES 1,500. Every finisher receives a medal regardless.

Can I register on the day?

No. There is no race-day registration, so you need to register in advance through the online form.

Where and when do I collect my race number?

At Runnerspoint, The Waterfront Mall Karen, Karen Road, Shop No. 2, between 12th and 16th January 2027, 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. There is no race-number collection on the morning of the event.

Which distance should I choose?

Four options are available: 5km, 10km, 20km, and 30km. The 5km suits first-time trail runners and families, while the 20km and 30km are for runners building endurance.

Course Details

The run starts at Karen End Police Post on Karen-Dagoretti Road and goes through the Karen End Forest, with 5km, 10km, 20km, and 30km options. The distances suit first-time trail runners through to runners building endurance or chasing a new personal best.

Getting There

The start is on Karen-Dagoretti Road, about 4.3km from The Hub Karen and roughly 18.9km from Nairobi CBD, around 38 minutes via Ngong Road and the Southern Bypass (avoiding road closures on Kenyatta Avenue). From the CBD, take Cabral Street to Moi Avenue, then Ngong Road and the Southern Bypass, exiting toward Karen/C63 onto Dagoretti Road and continuing to the Karinde Police Post (Karen End Police Post, near Nine Sisters Apartments).
