Course Details

All distances start and finish at Macwan Grounds on Old Ferry Road in Kilifi. The coastal setting means warm and humid conditions, particularly for the full and half marathon which start early to avoid peak heat. Carry hydration and factor in the climate when setting your pace target.

Getting There

Macwan Grounds is on Old Ferry Road in Kilifi town, approximately 60km north of Mombasa along the A7 coastal highway. From Nairobi, fly into Mombasa Moi International Airport and drive north for about an hour, or take an overnight bus to Kilifi. Kilifi town has accommodation options ranging from budget guesthouses to beach cottages.
