Event Highlights

Technical rocky trails on the dramatic Lukenya Hills
Four distances from 5km to 30km catering for all levels
Sweeping views toward Amboseli and Kilimanjaro on clear days
Well-organised by Runner's Point with solid logistics

Course Details

The course runs through Lukenya Conservancy on rocky, technical terrain typical of the Lukenya Hills. The trails are demanding underfoot so trail shoes with good grip are essential. The area is drier and warmer than Nairobi so carry extra water and start conservatively.

Getting There

Lukenya Conservancy is about 45km southeast of Nairobi off the A109 Mombasa Road. The drive from central Nairobi takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Turn off toward Lukenya Hills before Athi River.

Did You Know?

🌍The Lukenya Hills rise sharply from the semi-arid plains to just over 1,700m, creating a striking visual contrast with the surrounding flatlands.
🌍On a very clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) is visible to the south from the higher ridges.
