Course Details

All races start and finish at Ndakaini Dam in Murang'a County. Three race tiers run at staggered times: the Corporate & Fun Run (10km) assembles at 6:45 AM and starts at 7:15 AM, the Half Marathon (21km) assembles at 7:45 AM and starts at 8:15 AM, and the Community Run (10km, 8km, 6km, or 2km options) assembles at 8:45 AM and starts at 9:15 AM.

Getting There

Ndakaini Dam is in Murang'a County, approximately 71.6km from Nairobi, around 1 hour 42 minutes via the Northern Bypass, Thika-Gatura Road/C67, and the A2 (avoiding any incidents on the A2). Return bus transport (KES 1,500) is also available from Nairobi: meet at Kencom at 4:15 AM for a 4:45 AM departure, TRM at 5:00 AM for a 5:15 AM departure, or Kenyatta University at 5:30 AM for a 5:45 AM departure. Arrival at Ndakaini Dam is by 6:30 AM.
