Course Details

The route runs through the mixed terrain around Nyara Tea Estate in Limuru - expect a combination of tarmac, gravel, and farm tracks through some of Limuru's most scenic tea country. Two distance options: 60km for those wanting a full challenge, 40km for a slightly more accessible day out. A gravel bike or hardtail MTB is recommended given the mixed surface.

Getting There

Nyara Tea Estate is in Limuru, northeast of Limuru town off the Kiambu Road. From Nairobi take the A104 toward Limuru, then follow Kiambu Road toward the estate - it sits in the tea farm area above Limuru town. The drive from central Nairobi takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
