Course Details

The half marathon takes place in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. As a City of Champions event, expect a competitive elite field alongside recreational entrants. Specific route and start-time details are shared closer to race day.

Getting There

Eldoret is approximately 314km from Nairobi CBD via the A104/Nairobi-Uganda Road, around 6 hours 53 minutes by car including tolls. From the CBD, take Haile Selassie Avenue to Uhuru Highway/A104, then follow the A104 and Nairobi-Uganda Road through to Eldoret. Eldoret is also served by regular flights from Nairobi.

4th Edition - 2026

Erick Kiplangat won the men's race in 1:01:07, edging Kenneth Kiprono by 7 seconds, with Gilbert Kipkosgei completing the podium. Milicent Jelimo took the women's title in 1:10:25, narrowly holding off Tabitha Njeri, bouncing back after finishing 7th in 2024. Over 1,000 athletes took part, including a Masters category for competitors aged 55 and above.
