Course Details

The course has three legs. The swim is 750m. The bike is 20km with about 200m of climb, and the run is 5km with about 30m of climb. On the bike, a securely fastened helmet is mandatory and riding without one means disqualification. Follow all traffic rules on public roads: keep left, signal turns, and yield where needed. At the two main road crossings you must wait for the police officers to signal you across. Outside assistance is not allowed during the bike leg, and there are 3 bike checkpoints where you must stop and collect a sticker on your helmet. On the run, follow the course markings and instructions from officials and volunteers. Only participants may accompany runners, except an adult with an under-11. There is 1 run checkpoint where you collect a sticker on your race plate. Keep all checkpoint stickers, as organisers may ask to see them at the end to verify timings.
